Getting into Research WorkshopWhen: Thursday, May 30th, 2013, 6PM-7PM
Where: Boelter 5264 Struggling to find research opportunities? Come to ISPE's Getting into Research Workshop to learn about the various ways through which you can get into a lab at UCLA. Students currently conducting research will share their experiences and give you important tips on emailing professors and polishing your CV. But more importantly, rather than the brute force method of mass-emailing professors, you will learn about other research-giving opportunities, particularly the Biomedical Minor Program and ISPE's Research Networking Fair. Don't miss out on tips and advice on having a successful research career here at UCLA! It’s a great time to get to know your fellow ISPE members over some delicious, homemade ice cream. If you like, you can even bring fruits, Gummy Bears, or anything edible that you would like to get FROZEN INSTANTLY! Also, available Executive Board positions will be discussed.
